1/4teaspooneach of ground black pepper and cayenne pepper
1/8of a cup of fresh minced onion.
Instructions
Combine the spices in a small ramekin or bowl and set aside.
Add your ground moose to a mixing bowl along with the spices and minced onion. (see tips on making minced onion below)
Use your hands or a wooden spatula to combine the ingredients.
Form even-sized burger patties and add them to a preheated cast iron skillet.
Cook for 2-5 minutes per side, depending on the thickness.
Notes
Use the 3rd smallest grate on a standard box grater to shred the onion. Depending on the size of the onion, you can expect to use half an onion to get an eighth of a cup of minced onion.
