How to Cook Frozen Hot Dogs
Whenever I want to prepare a fast and satisfying meal that even the most selective kids will enjoy, I can count on these frozen hot dogs.
Servings: 8
Ingredients
- 8 frozen hot dogs
- 4 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Instructions
- Add the water to the dutch oven.
- Place frozen hot dogs carefully into the pot.
- Bring the water to a boil, uncovered.
- Once the frozen hot dogs begin to soften, you can separate them with a butter knife. (wear oven mitts to protect your hands)
- Continue to boil until heated through.
- Remove the hot dogs to a plate and drain the water.
- Heat the butter in the bottom of the dutch oven and sear the hot dogs.
- Serve and enjoy.
