This Beef Tips and Noodles recipe is a weeknight lifesaver. Simple ingredients simmer together to create a comforting dish with melt-in-your-mouth beef and a rich, savory sauce. Plus, the classic egg noodles make it a complete and satisfying meal.
1poundcubed beef stew meat or steak meatsee notes below
2cupswater
¼cupsoy sauce
¼cupWorcestershire sauce
1tablespoonbalsamic vinegar
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonground black pepper
1cupchicken or beef broth
½cupall-purpose flour
Cooked egg noodlesfor serving
Fresh parsleyoptional, for garnish
Instructions
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and sauté for 3 minutes.
Add meat and sear on all sides, stirring occasionally, for about 3 minutes.
Pour in water, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Cover, and simmer for one hour.
Once meat is tender, add broth and bring to a simmer again. Slowly whisk in flour to thicken the gravy.
Serve over cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley (optional).
