Apple and Strawberry Crumble
This homemade apple and strawberry crumble is one of our favorite desserts this time of year! Serve it warm, and top it with whipped cream or ice cream!

Ingredients
ingredients for the filling:

cups
of apples
peeled and cut into chunks (about 4 apples)

of strawberries
chunked (about 10 strawberries)

tablespoon
of lemon juice
1/2

of pure granulated sugar

tablespoons
of cornstarch
1/4
teaspoon
of sea salt
ingredients for the crumble topping:
1 1/2
cups
of all purpose flour
1
cup
of brown sugar
lightly packed
1
teaspoon
of baking powder
1/2
teaspoon
of sea salt
1
teaspoon
of ground cinnamon
1
stick
8 tbsp of butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F
Add the dry ingredients for the crumble topping to a mixing bowl, then add the butter and mix well until crumbly. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine all the filling ingredients.
Spread the filling evenly in the bottom of a 7x10 cast iron baking dish and top with the crumble.
Bake for 35 minutes, or until the apples are soft.
Notes
To keep the apples from browning before you are ready for them, consider mixing them with the lemon juice right away.
